Q: What's the fine print?
A: Ages 18+. There is a two item minimum in the showroom (could be food, alcohol, or non-alcoholic). Heckling will not be tolerated and will result in the heckler's immediate removal with no refunds. Your party will be seated once the entire party arrives. Seating is first come, first serve. Guest list is first-come, first-served, so if either we sell out with paid tickets or people on the guest list pick up their tickets and we get to capacity, others on the list may not get in. Recommended arrival times--around 90 minutes prior/at least 1 hour prior for dinner before the show, which gets you preferred seating, waives the item minimum, and gives you a better chance of getting in off the guest list if it'll be busy since you're arriving so early. Seating for the show tends to begin about 30 mins prior for those not doing dinner beforehand.
Q: Do I need to arrive at the show early?
A: Yes. We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime. Seating is limited and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Our shows frequently sell out and reservations are held only until 30 minutes before showtime. The only way to ensure seating is with an advance ticket purchase, which holds your seat right up to our showtime (this will not ensure group seating together if you show up at showtime and we have a sold out show). If we have guests in need of seating at that time, your reservation will be cancelled.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes. We accept major credit cards and PayPal for tickets. Irvine Improv accepts major credit cards for food and drink.
Q: Is there a drink minimum?
A: There is a two drink minimum in the show room. The club has to pay their rent somehow.
Q: Can you accommodate large groups or private parties?
A: Of course. Large groups are welcome, but reservations are strongly recommended. Additionally, large groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before show time to ensure group seating.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Casual but presentable. Come on folks, you're in public.
Q: Do you have smoke-free shows?
A: All of our shows are smoke-free. We have a wonderful smoking section out front, located conveniently on the sidewalk.
Q: Are the shows vulgar or dirty?
A: Yes - that's part of the fun. If you're easily offended, stay home. Comedy is best when it's uncensored.
Q: How can I get booked to perform on Comedy Juice?
A: Be generally awesome, and we will find you.
Q: How can I get advance notice of shows, coupons and other great deals?
A: Visit our calendar for information on upcoming shows and special events. And sign up at the top of any page as a VIP and get advance notice of shows, coupons and other goodies!
Q: Who is in charge here?
A: Our fantastic staff.
